Tour Booking Platform in Laos: Terra Lao
Tour booking, GPS trail maps, equipment rentals, a private AI assistant, and a 20-screen operator back-office with accounting
Live · Built by Julien Mayer / SabaïDev
Context
A motorcycle-tour operator in Laos running multi-day enduro trips: tours, guides, rental equipment, routes, and the accounting behind all of it.
The problem
A tour operator's business is a scheduling problem wearing a travel brand. Bookings, guide availability, bike and gear inventory, route information and cash flow are one interlocking system - and they usually live in five disconnected tools plus a messaging thread.
Customers, meanwhile, are choosing a multi-day ride through terrain they've never seen. Prose doesn't sell that. The route does.
The system
A customer platform and an operator platform, built as one.

🤖 Private AI assistant
- Answers questions in plain language

🔐 Operator back-office (20+ screens)

📊 Accounting module

Execution
The parts that don't fit a web app run as their own services rather than being forced into one process.
The AI assistant answers only from the operator's own content. A tourism chatbot that invents a route is worse than no chatbot.
